Ref. Cicognara 2652. The Nani collection was created by Senator Bernardo Nani (1712-1761) and added to by his brother Jacopo (1725-97) and was the largest Venetian collection of its type in the second half of the 18th century. In 1797 this remarkable collection focusing on classical antiquity was bequeathed to the Biblioteca Marciana. This volume was printed in a limited edition of 250
