NOTE:Beautiful illustrated prayer book for Roman Catholic youth, especially devoted to the Blessed Mary. The engraved plates were made after Jan Galle (1600-1676), the last member of the famous family of engravers and publishers at Antwerp, active from about 1550 to the end of the 17th century. The present booklet, adorned with woodcut borders throughout, was probably intended as a gift on religious festive occasions, like the First Communion or the Confirmation. - Not in Hollstein.
