[BAVARIA - LUITPOLD, PRÍNCIPE REGENTE (1886-1912)] Medalla de oro de 12 ducados, otorgada como primer premio a los expositores con motivo de la Exposición Bávara de Industria, Artes y Bellas Artes de Núremberg, 1896. Peso: 40,4 g. Diámetro: 39 mm. Medalla realizada en 1896 por Alois Börsch y Anton Scharff. - Anverso: Busto del príncipe regente Luitpold mirando hacia la izquierda. En la parte inferior de la leyenda circular figura un cetro acostado, rodeado por una rama de olivo orientada hacia la derecha. Inscripción circular: «PRINZ . LUITPOLD . DES . KOENIGREICHS . BAYERN . VERWESER» (Príncipe Luitpold, regente del reino de Baviera). - Reverso: Una alegoría femenina de la ciudad, sentada en un trono adornado con el escudo de armas del Estado y mirando hacia la izquierda, entrega una corona de laurel a un artesano arrodillado, que sostiene un martillo y una rueda dentada. A la izquierda, un putto lleva también una corona de laurel, mientras que diversos objetos de arte ocupan el centro de la composición. Al fondo aparece el edificio de la exposición. Inscripción circular: «BAYER. LANDES- INDUSTRIE- GEWERBE- U. KUNSTAUSSTELLUNG . NÜRNBERG 1896» (Exposición bávara de la industria, los oficios y las bellas artes, Núremberg 1896).
