Otto Wols (Otto Alfred Wolfgang Schulze, conocido como) (alemán, 1913-1951) Gesicht (Rostro). (Lámina para C. Bryen, Baleine-Ville, 1945). Punta seca y aguafuerte. 95 x 115 [170 x 219]. Busch 25. Preciosa prueba en papel vitela, con la anotación «Prueba de artista», dedicada «a Chatté» y firmada a lápiz. Ligerísimos rastros de oxidación en los márgenes. Anotación al pie en el reverso, de puño y letra de Arsène Bonafous-Murat: «Regalado por el doctor V[adim] Cotlenko 04.78», firmada con su inicial. Márgenes completos. Sello AABM (Lugt 3075). Vadim Cotlenko (1918-1995), médico de profesión, abrió ya en su madurez una pequeña tienda de grabados frente a la de Arsène Bonafous-Murat, en la calle de l’Échaudé (París, 6.º distrito). Era un gran aficionado a los antiguos grabadores ornamentistas. Se conocen dos tiradas póstumas de este motivo (1962 y 1963), cada una de 50 ejemplares, una de ellas como tarjeta de invitación para la galería Europe.
