C. fayenza, en postura momificada, con peluca y barba tripartitas, sosteniendo un pico y una azada, con una cesta sobre el hombro izquierdo; con jeroglíficos a lo largo de la espalda; presentado sobre un soporte hecho a medida 14,1 cm de altura Procedencia: Sr. y Sra. J. Axel, París, Francia; adquirido en 1987 en París Los shabtis, conocidos también como «figuras respondedoras», se colocaban en la tumba para que el espíritu del propietario no tuviera que realizar trabajos manuales en el más allá. A menudo llevaban inscrito el capítulo 6 del Libro de los Muertos, el texto del shabti, un hechizo que obliga al shabti a sustituir a su dueño si se le pide que labre los campos, riegue la tierra o transporte arena de este a oeste.
