Inscripción manuscrita antigua en el reverso: «Esposa de Su Alteza Real Luis». Barón von Schütz-Pflummern. Casados en 1777. Carolina, baronesa de Varenbüler von und zu Gemmingen, nacida en 1755. Fallecida en 1784. Pintado por Pintado por Schnaible en Leonberg. 1763. Restaurado por Maria Freudenreich en 1912. Pérdidas de color y rozaduras. Agujero en el lienzo a la derecha, junto al ojo del perro. Marco. Nota: Maria Freudenreich fue una reconocida restauradora de pinturas sacras y de retratos de dignatarios laicos (1860, Erbach - 1914, Ochsenhausen).
