En hojas, cubierta ilustrada con relleno, con funda de lino ilustrada y estuche del editor. Precioso y raro álbum de grabados de Joan MIRÓ. Consta de una cubierta ilustrada con un aguafuerte a color en la tapa delantera, y de 10 aguafuertes y aguatintas originales sin firmar, uno de ellos en negro en la página de título y 9 a color fuera de texto, insertados en hojas dobles. Las láminas van precedidas de la frase de Heráclito que da título al álbum: «Sin el sol, a pesar de los demás astros, sería de noche». Tirada limitada a 75 ejemplares, firmados por Joan Miró en el margen interior. El título, las guardas, el margen interior y las hojas dobles están impresas en papel de Auvernia Richard-de-Bas; los nueve aguafuertes fuera de texto, en vitela de Rives. Ejemplar muy bien conservado.
