Máscara antropomórfica de Lovale, Zambia/Angola. Hermosa máscara de madera tallada con una pátina profunda de color marrón-negro, que presenta un rostro muy expresivo con los ojos entrecerrados, pómulos salientes, nariz alargada y boca entreabierta. La escultura destaca por sus orejas puntiagudas y su llamativo peinado acampanado, que se prolonga por la parte trasera con los restos de un antiguo sistema de sujeción de fibras y tejido. Bonita superficie de uso con relieves suavizados. Primera mitad del siglo XX. Procedencia: Justin Barthels, Maastricht Altura: 28 cm
