Herez Persia, siglo XX. Lana sobre lana, tintes vegetales, aprox. 196 cm x 138 cm. El campo central, de color rojo teja, está dominado por un gran medallón central de composición geométrica en azul oscuro, azul cielo, ocre y marfil. El característico lenguaje formal de líneas angulosas, con flores estilizadas, rosetas y motivos en forma de gancho, se ajusta a la ornamentación típica de la región de las alfombras de Herez. Las zonas de las esquinas, de color marfil, crean un llamativo contraste con el fondo rojo. El amplio borde principal, de color azul oscuro, está decorado con rosetas florales multicolores dispuestas de forma regular y zarcillos de hojas estilizados.
