Heinrich Zille 1852 Radeburg/Dresde - 1929 Berlín - «Die gute Partie» - Carboncillo y tiza de colores sobre papel. 18 x 12,5 cm (recorte del paspartú). 42 x 32 cm (dimensiones con marco). Identificado en el reverso del marco mediante una etiqueta de la Galería Rosenbach, de Hannover (sello del legado en el reverso). Paspartú. Enmarcado bajo cristal. Ligeramente amarillento. Heinrich Zille realizó un aprendizaje como litógrafo entre 1872 y 1875 y, posteriormente, asistió a cursos impartidos por Anton von Werner. Gracias al apoyo de sus colegas artistas Gaul, Kraus y Liebermann, pudo exponer sus obras en las exposiciones de la «Secesión de Berlín». En 1907, el Kupferstichkabinett de Berlín adquirió algunos de sus grabados y, a partir de entonces, trabajó como artista independiente.
