Jürgen Weber 1928, Münster - 2007, en Pou d'es Lleo, Ibiza - Desnudo femenino - Bronce. Patina verde-negra. 42 x 112 x 65 cm. Sin firmar. Marca del fundidor: H. NOACK BERLIN. - Bibliografía: Vollmer 5, págs. 89/90. Tras realizar un aprendizaje como fundidor de bronce, Weber comenzó a estudiar Medicina. Posteriormente, estudió Historia del Arte en Tubinga y Escultura en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Stuttgart. En 1960 obtuvo la beca de Roma de la Villa Massimo. De 1961 a 1996 fue catedrático de Formas Elementales en la Universidad Técnica de Braunschweig. Entre sus obras más conocidas se encuentran las esculturas de bronce «América» y «Guerra o paz» del Kennedy Center de Washington, un regalo de Estado de la República Federal de Alemania a los Estados Unidos. Otras obras suyas son el pórtico de la iglesia principal de San Jacobi en Hamburgo, la fuente de los luchadores en Braunschweig y la fuente con la columna histórica en Coblenza.
