Sander, August Retrato de una familia en el Westerwald. Hacia 1910. Copia vintage en gelatina de plata mate, montada sobre cartón original. 11 x 15,3 cm. Sello «August Sander Cöln-Lindenthal, Dürenerstr. 201» en la esquina inferior derecha del paspartú. August Sander es famoso por sus retratos de personas de todos los ámbitos de la sociedad alemana, reunidos en su ambicioso proyecto «Menschen des 20. Jahrhunderts» (Gente del siglo XX). Sus fotografías de agricultores y sus familias en el Westerwald constituyeron una parte importante de esta iniciativa. Realizado alrededor de 1910, este retrato familiar pertenece a la primera etapa de su obra, a través de la cual Sander documentó a la gente de la región. – El paspartú está ligeramente sucio, con ligeras manchas de óxido y algunas motas; la copia presenta algunas ligeras marcas superficiales, más visibles al mirarla de lado; por lo demás, se encuentra en muy buen estado.
