Gelpke, André Hombre con sombrero. 1979. Copia vintage en gelatina de plata sobre papel Agfa. 32,5 x 22 cm (38,7 x 29 cm). Firmada, titulada y fechada por el fotógrafo a lápiz en el reverso. André Gelpke es un fotógrafo germano-suizo que estudió con Otto Steinert en la Folkwangschule de Essen entre 1969 y 1975. En 1975, cofundó la agencia fotográfica Visum junto con Rudi Meisel y Gerd Ludwig. Orientándose cada vez más hacia la fotografía artística, Gelpke, junto con contemporáneos como Heinrich Riebesehl y Michael Schmidt, contribuyó de manera significativa al reconocimiento de la fotografía como forma de arte independiente en Alemania. – Presenta algunas pequeñas manchas retocadas; por lo demás, se encuentra en muy buen estado.
