Gütersloh resalta la inestabilidad de esta perspectiva inclinada y de compleja disposición mediante las líneas onduladas del papel pintado del fondo, que se balancean de forma hipnótica e irregular. Los elementos de la composición, agrupados muy cerca unos de otros, están representados con una sutileza puntillista característica de sus dibujos, en su mayoría de pequeño formato.
