HANS BURGKMAIR (1473-1531) Santa Plectruda Grabado en madera de hilo sobre papel Prueba Agujeros Alt. 23,8 cm - An. 21,2 cm por el contorno Nota: Este grabado pertenece a la serie de los santos de la parentela, la familia y la familia política del emperador Maximiliano, uno de los vastos proyectos conmemorativos impresos a petición del emperador Maximiliano I para celebrar la gloria de los Habsburgo. Las ilustraciones fueron realizadas por los grabadores alemanes Leonhard Beck, Hans Burgkmair y Hans Springinklee entre 1516 y 1518. Sin embargo, el proyecto quedó inconcluso tras la muerte del emperador en 1519 y las xilografías permanecieron en la biblioteca de Viena hasta que Adam von Bartsch las redescubrió y lanzó su edición en 1799.
