Pequeños objetos cerámicos perforados que se utilizaban como volantes de inercia en un huso para hilar fibras vegetales (como el algodón) o animales (como la lana de los camélidos). El tejido es una actividad muy valorada en las sociedades andinas y mesoamericanas. Los husos pueden acompañar a los difuntos en sus sepulturas o reflejar la identidad cultural y social de la hilandera.
