LAURENCIN Marie [París, 1883 - ídem, 1956], pintora y grabadora francesa. Carta autógrafa firmada «Marie Laurencin». 1 página en formato in-8° grande, en papel con iniciales. Agradece a su corresponsal su carta, pero explica que se encuentra indispuesta y que ya no desea seguir trabajando en las escenografías de la Ópera Cómica: «¿El invierno, el frío, la nieve, no me causan más que malestar? Además, la última escenografía realizada para un ballet de la Ópera Cómica me ha hecho perder para siempre el gusto por este tipo de trabajo. Me da vergüenza, se lo aseguro, pero si necesitara algún consejo sobre un traje —aunque los modistos saben mucho más que yo—, estoy a su disposición». Se adjunta una nota autógrafa firmada y fechada el 2 de marzo de 1955, en formato 1/2 in-8°: «Aquí tienes, querida amiga, un pequeño cheque. No puedo escribir más debido al frío».
