Establece un paralelismo entre el destino de Necker, a punto de exiliarse, y el suyo propio, decidida a trasladarse a Londres tras sus contratiempos con los Comediantes Franceses. Critica la actitud del clero en materia de finanzas y la del rey, demasiado tímido, que no supo seguir sus consejos.
