Este dibujo, de gran minuciosidad técnica, se inscribe en el corazón de la producción fantástica y visionaria del artista, caracterizada por una reinterpretación onírica de los grandes mitos de la Antigüedad. La obra despliega una composición exuberante en la que el rostro juvenil e idealizado de Ganímedes emerge de una maraña de arquitecturas góticas, catedrales imaginarias y estructuras vegetales orgánicas. Mediante un trazo virtuoso que juega con infinitas variaciones de sombras y rayados densos, el dibujante difumina las fronteras entre lo mineral, lo vegetal y lo humano. Esta profusión de detalles entrelazados crea un espacio laberíntico y surrealista, que da testimonio de la estética singular del artista, quien combina simbolismo místico, rigor constructivo y una fascinante poesía barroca.
