Prueba en negro según el original. 493 x 365 mm Marco. Bibliografía: A. LAFRERY, Specvlvm Romanae Magnificentiae, Roma, 1544. Grabado realizado por Lafrery en el siglo XVI. A su muerte, su sobrino —Claude Duchet— realizó nuevas impresiones de estas planchas bajo su nombre. Nuestra obra parece haber sido impresa en 1602 por Giovanni Orlandi, editor romano y posteriormente napolitano, conocido por haber comprado numerosas planchas a Nicolas Van Aelst, entre otros. Un hermoso documento que muestra la evolución de los grabados en cobre a finales del Renacimiento italiano y en los albores del Gran Siglo.
