Edición original de este relato de viaje del diplomático suizo Moser (1844-1923), que comienza en la estepa kirguisa, pasa por el Turquestán ruso, Bujará, Jiva y el país de los turcomanos, y termina en Persia. Ilustrado con un retrato del autor en la portada y numerosas ilustraciones, entre ellas un mapa desplegable.
