Perteneciente a la serie de emperadores y emperatrices romanas. «Uno de los doce césares, basado en los cuadros pintados por Tiziano para el Palazzo Ducale de Mantua». Las pinturas originales se vendieron a Carlos I en 1627/28 y se enviaron a España, donde se perdieron en el incendio del Alcázar de 1734. Firmado «Aegidius Sadeler S. C. M. Sculp. - Titianus inventor», «Marcus Sadeler exc.». Segundo estado de una tirada de tres, con la dirección del editor, Marco Sadeler. Dimensiones: 34,60 x 23,70 cm Estado: Muy buena impresión sobre papel verjurado con marca de agua. Borde completo de la plancha y márgenes estrechos.
