Cabeza laureada de Napoleón I a la derecha. Firmado: ANDRIEU F. Reverso: En el exergo: «RETIRADA DEL EJÉRCITO. / NOVIEMBRE. MDCCCXII. ». Alegoría de la retirada de Rusia: Bórea, volando por los aires, lanza los vientos helados de un odre sobre un guerrero de estilo antiguo que huye hacia la derecha; en el suelo, un caballo muerto y restos de equipamiento militar; al fondo, un carro abandonado y un árbol muerto y deshojado.
