Me apresuro a devolverle en este sobre una prueba con los retoques que considero necesarios para su grabado, que presenta cualidades muy loables en cuanto a tono y delicadeza, pero al que pediría más vigor en ciertos puntos, sobre todo en el dibujo de las figuras». ADJUNTO: Dos fotografías de Dore´ realizadas por Et. Carjat con dedicatoria a su amigo H. Giacomelli, el pintor de aves.
