Encuadernación firmada «REMEAU» al pie del lomo. París, Ollendorff, 1913 (EDICIÓN ORIGINAL). Frontispicio con el retrato del autor. Ejemplar dedicado a Armand Massard (miembro del COI y antiguo campeón de esgrima). De esta obra se imprimieron 925 ejemplares numerados; este es el n.º 1 de los 200 en papel holandés (n.º 153). Ejemplar enriquecido con una página manuscrita de Farrère que recoge el título y la primera página del primer libro.
