Incipiunt Rubrice testamenti beati Hieronimi. [Milán], Filippo Cavagni da Lavagna, 1475. En octavo (170 x 117 mm); fragmento de [75-173] hojas. Carácter romano con iniciales rubricadas en rojo o azul. Encuadernación del siglo XX en marroquín rojo jansenista, lomo de 5 nervios con título y fecha en oro, forro interior de papel marmolado con motivo botánico, cortes dorados. El *Testamentum beati Hieronymi*, conocido generalmente como *Transitus Sancti Hieronymi*, es un texto hagiográfico atribuido a Eusebio de Cremona, discípulo de San Jerónimo, fallecido en el año 423. La obra transmite el relato de los últimos momentos del santo y de su muerte, inscribiéndose en la tradición medieval dedicada a su figura. El ejemplar es un fragmento de una edición milanesa de 1475, impresa por Filippo Cavagni da Lavagna, uno de los primeros tipógrafos activos en Milán, donde su producción está documentada desde 1471.
