François Théodore Devaulx, Hygieia fechada en 1849, firmada Devaulx, estampada con el número 4882 en el reverso, bronce patinado marrón oscuro, belleza sentada con el cabello anudado, su túnica de estilo antiguo se desliza por sus brazos y envuelve su cuerpo en finos pliegues, en su brazo sostiene una serpiente entre flores en un gesto íntimo, junto a ella descansa una cesta de flores sobre el zócalo naturalista y curvado, que en su día formó parte de la caja de un reloj, en muy buen estado, h 41 cm. Información sobre el artista: Escultor francés (1808 París - 1871 ?), estudió desde 1823 en la École des beaux-arts de París con Jules Ramey, asistió al Salon des artistes de París de 1845 a 1870, por el que recibió una medalla de tercera clase en 1849, en 1833 ganó el segundo premio en el Prix de Rome.
