Cortes dorados. B.E. Historia: Armand Gritton fue un gran coleccionista de figuritas y documentación. Fue el impulsor de la creación del Museo de la Figurita Histórica de Compiègne. Para satisfacer sus necesidades a la hora de ampliar su colección, contó con la colaboración de diversos artistas e investigadores. Entre ellos se encontraba Paul Martin, que era conservador del Museo Histórico de la ciudad de Estrasburgo y gran especialista en armas y armaduras.
