Paul Emile Perboyre (1851-1929) – Carabineros en el campo de batalla Óleo sobre madera, firmado «Perboyre» en la esquina inferior izquierda. Jinetes de caballería pesada de los carabineros del Primer Imperio en el campo de batalla, con sus corazas amarillas antes de una escaramuza, liderados por un oficial. En marco de perfil dorado y ricamente repujado (con algunos golpes). Signos de uso y de la edad. Dimensiones del cuadro: 35 x 27 cm; dimensiones con marco: 50 x 42 cm. Pintura magistral, muy representativa. Perboyre estudió en París como alumno de Bonnat y se dedicó principalmente a temas militares (Thieme/Becker, vol. XXVI, p. 395). Estado: II
