Pequeño in-4 de chagrín beige, lomo con cinco nervaduras que se prolongan en un relieve en seco sobre las tapas, título en seco, forro de piel de ternera natural con un motivo de rombos floridos en seco alrededor de un gran rombo central en el que aparecen las figuras de Isolda y Tristán grabadas y pintadas, guardas de seda marrón claro con motivos florales bordados, cabeza dorada, tapas y lomo conservados, sin estuche con rebordes (E. Berthet). Composiciones en color en el texto de Engels. Lomo ligeramente descolorido; por lo demás, bonito ejemplar de la edición no numerada.
