BRETON (André), 1896-1966. Carta autógrafa «André Breton», sin fecha, 13 de diciembre de 1932, in-8, dirigida al coleccionista René Gaffé. Breton se alegra, en primer lugar, en nombre de Paul Éluard y en el suyo propio, de recibirlo esa misma noche. Se explaya sobre todo acerca del retraso sufrido por los ejemplares de lujo de *Les Vases communicants*, cuyo envío había bloqueado personalmente al considerarlos inaceptables. Publicada el 26 de noviembre de 1932 en *Les Cahiers Libres*, la obra cuenta con tan solo 25 ejemplares de cabeza en papel «Japon impérial». Breton concluye mostrando su preocupación por el estado de la mano de su corresponsal.
