BLOY (Léon), 1846-1917. Carta autógrafa «Léon Bloy», París, 3 de julio de 1889, 2 pp. in-8, dirigida al director del periódico «L’Art Moderne», probablemente Edmon Picard. Ha recibido sin problemas los 500 francos enviados por su corresponsal «[...] He sufrido cruel y terriblemente por este prolongado retraso [...] Es muy posible que mi sufrimiento me haya vuelto muy injusto y me haya llevado a lanzar algunos gritos excesivos. Su experiencia con los hombres se lo perdonará a un sureño atormentado [...]» Le da las gracias efusivamente mientras espera enviar a «L'Art Moderne» los pocos estudios prometidos. «[...] no carezco en absoluto de corazón y [...] soy capaz de escribir mejor y más extensamente tan pronto como mi mente, ahora tan alterada, vuelva a su cauce». Se adjunta un sobre autógrafo de Léon Bloy dirigido a Edmond Picard, abogado, Bruselas (sello con fecha del 20 de noviembre [1900]).
