[HOZIER (Louis Pierre d’)]. Armorial général de la France. Primer registro. París, Imprenta Real, 1821. Formato in-4 robusto, de xl-909-[1] pp., encuadernado en rústica, con cubierta provisional de la época. Nueva edición de este importante repertorio genealógico y heráldico, publicado originalmente por Louis-Pierre d’Hozier entre 1738 y 1768 y continuado por su hijo Ambroise-Louis-Marie d’Hozier. Este primer registro, precedido de textos relativos a la nobleza y a los escudos de armas, recoge las genealogías de un gran número de familias francesas, ilustradas con sus escudos grabados en el texto. La obra está adornada con un retrato de Luis XV (punteado) y siete láminas heráldicas fuera de texto, así como con numerosos escudos en el texto. La reedición debía continuar y completar la obra anterior: solo se publicó un segundo registro en 1823, quedando el proyecto inconcluso.
