[...] Ámsterdam, Gérard Tielenburg, 1764. 2 tomos (paginación continua) en un volumen en folio, encuadernación moderna de aficionado en percalina verde. Rara edición original de esta obra muy buscada, dedicada a las antigüedades de Sicilia, publicada por Pieter Burman el Joven. La ilustración se compone de un retrato grabado por Houbraken según Quinkhard, una viñeta de título repetida, una franja con escudo de armas y 52 (de 54) láminas fuera de texto, de las cuales 20 son de numismática. Faltan las láminas 29 (p. 268 A) y 34 (p. xxv). Algunas pequeñas manchas de oxidación. (Brunet, IV, 247; Cicognara, n.º 2689.)
