Pomander con higuera de la envidia Plata dorada. Representación en relieve de una mano que sostiene una flor, con el pulgar sujeto entre el índice y el dedo medio. El recipiente para perfumes, situado en la base de la manga, cuenta con un pequeño ojal en forma de anillo. Sin marca. L 6 cm, peso 24 g. Probablemente del sur de Alemania o de España, siglo XVII. La higuera de la envidia o «mano de higuera» se considera desde la Antigüedad un símbolo de fertilidad y buena suerte. Como amuleto apotropaico, debía proteger a quien lo llevara de la desgracia y los maleficios.
