Sevastianos Kourkoulos (griego, 1913-1984) Agrinio, realizada hacia la década de 1960. Acuarela sobre papel, 31,70 x 45,50 cm (sin enmarcar). Firmado en griego en la parte inferior izquierda. Procedencia: La familia del artista Notas: Nacido en Armenades, Corfú, en 1913, fue uno de los acuarelistas y pintores naturalistas más destacados de Grecia. Alumno de Angelos Giallinas, también recibió la influencia de la obra de Emilios Prosalentis y Vikentios Bokatsiambis. En 1931 se trasladó a Atenas para estudiar en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Atenas. Conocido sobre todo por sus paisajes y bodegones altamente naturalistas, en particular los paisajes marinos y los olivos, expuso ampliamente en Grecia y en el extranjero y participó en once Exposiciones Panhelénicas de Arte. Sus obras forman parte de colecciones públicas y privadas, incluida la Galería Nacional de Grecia. Falleció en 1984.
