Alfombra KASHGAI Irán. Mediados del siglo XX. Terciopelo de lana sobre base de lana. Un amplio campo secundario de color cereza, oblongo y hexagonal, tejido a ganchillo y dentado, cubierto de redes de estrellas de los medos, formas entomológicas, florecillas y «S», sostiene un medallón central tejido a ganchillo, policromado y con formas entomológicas estilizadas. El campo antracita, cubierto de pequeños símbolos policromados, alberga cuatro formas hexagonales de color marfil, tejidas a ganchillo, llamativas y con formas de insectos, que hacen las veces de esquinas. El marco se compone de seis bordes en tonos albaricoque, antracita, marfil y cereza con motivos vegetales geométricos. Hermosa paleta de colores y bello diseño etnológico.
