Alfombra ISPAHAN con urdimbres de seda, firmada «SEIRAFIAN» Irán. Época del Sha, mediados del siglo XX. Terciopelo de lana sobre base de seda. Un campo oblongo de color marfil con arabescos, cubierto de ramajes florales con corolas multicolores en espiral, sostiene una magnífica roseta floral en forma de estrella en tonos marfil, rubí, azul marino, azul cielo y oro viejo, junto con sus colgantes en forma de flecha. Cuatro sublimes esquinas con motivos vegetales en azul cielo, rubí y marfil, dispuestas en forma de llaves, enmarcan el conjunto. Cuatro contrabordes en azul marino y marfil, con guirnaldas de florecillas frondosas, enmarcan el borde principal en rubí, con una sucesión de corolas abiertas sobre entrelazados vegetales policromados. Firmado en persa en el kilim, dentro de un cartucho de color marfil enmarcado con los colores iraníes. Una paleta sublime y un diseño de gran clase. Altura: 242 cm. Anchura: 135 cm.
