Alfombra ISPAHAN Irán. Época del Sha, hacia 1965. Características técnicas: terciopelo de lana sobre base de algodón. Un campo de color marfil sirve de fondo a un entrelazado de arabescos florales multicolores, que forman un motivo en mosaico, intercalados con delicados medallones con casetones cruciformes en forma de flecha de tonos azulados. El marco se compone de un borde principal de color rubí, flanqueado por cuatro contrabordes de color azul marino y marfil, los cinco adornados con guirnaldas de flores policromadas. Hermoso diseño.
