Retrato de busto de un sultán otomano, Turquía otomana o Europa, segunda mitad del siglo XIX, inspirado libremente en un grabado que forma parte de una serie no identificada de retratos de sultanes del Imperio Otomano en la que aparece Solimán el Magnífico, actualmente conservado en el Museo Británico (O,2.114), sobre papel, posiblemente fragmentario, mirando hacia la izquierda, con un gran turbante y pieles; presenta una impresión de sello poco nítida en la parte superior y una inscripción ilegible en escritura árabe en la parte inferior; montado sobre cartulina con finos bordes dorados y dos amplios márgenes rectangulares lisos de color azul con motivos florales; el reverso presenta inscripciones borradas y una etiqueta moderna con la inscripción «8 2 98», 23,5 x 15,5 cm.
