IV/I, 724, 30 - Borst 238 - Carter-M. 399 - Schulte-Str. 38, 18. - «El motivo real fue un escrito publicado en 1766 por el teólogo berlinés Süssmilch, quien pretendía demostrar el origen divino del lenguaje... El tratado de Herder allanó el camino para una auténtica filosofía del lenguaje, que sacrificó el concepto racionalista del «lenguaje» como «forma de reflexión» en favor de uno «orgánico», tal y como lo retomó posteriormente el romanticismo».
