CARLOS FRANCO (Madrid, 1951). Sin título, 1992. Aguafuerte y aguatinta, monotipo 1/1. Firmado, fechado y justificado a mano. Dimensiones: 14 x 21 cm (superficie de impresión); 20 x 27 cm (papel); 32,5 x 39 cm (marco) Carlos Franco debutó con una exposición individual en 1971 y, desde entonces, ha expuesto su obra en Europa y América. Desde 2003 expone en la Galería Marlborough de Madrid (posteriormente también expondrá en la Galería Marlborough de Nueva York), y en 2007 el Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía organizó una exposición de su obra gráfica que tuvo lugar en el Monasterio de Silos (Burgos). Actualmente, la obra de Carlos Franco forma parte de las colecciones del MNCARS, el MEAC, el Museo de Vitoria, el Museo Municipal de Arte Contemporáneo de Madrid, el Instituto de Empresa y el Instituto de Crédito Oficial, la Fundación Mapfre y las colecciones Testimoni de La Caixa, Banco Hipotecario, Amigos del Arte Contemporáneo, Tándem DDM, Banco Europeo de Inversiones, Loewe Hnos, Argentaria y el Comité Olímpico Internacional, entre otras.
