MARGARITA SAENZ MIR (Jaén, 1947-2014). "Desnudo femenino". Técnica mixta sobre papel. Firmado en la esquina inferior izquierda. Medidas: 65 x 51 cm; 77 x 62 cm (marco). Formada en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Sevilla, donde se inicia en el modelado y la pintura de caballete, Margarita Sáenz expone durante su juventud en muestras de Sevilla y Madrid. En 1994, gracias a su amistad con Albert Ráfols Casamada, ingresó en la Escuela privada de Bellas Artes Eina de Barcelona, donde trabajó con Hernández-Pijoan y Frederic Amat. En 2004, María Salvat le organizó una exposición antológica en las Salas del Princesa Sofía de Barcelona, en la que se expusieron un centenar de obras, la mayoría procedentes de colecciones privadas. Actualmente trabaja en composiciones de estructura abstracta, manteniéndose fiel al tema conceptual.
