FERMÍN VALLÉS (Pamplona, 1971). Sin título. Pastel sobre papel. Firmado en la esquina inferior derecha. Dimensiones: 62 x 48 cm; 89 x 74 x 4 cm (marco). La obra pertenece a la etapa más marcadamente realista de la trayectoria de Fermín Vallés, quien ha cultivado el pastel como medio para representar la figura humana. El primer plano centra toda la atención en el rostro del niño, representado mediante un dibujo meticuloso y una intensa variación cromática. Los azules intensos de la ropa contrastan con los tonos cálidos del fondo, lo que refuerza la expresividad de la mirada y la inmediatez del retrato. Fermín Vallés nació en Pamplona en 1971. Activo en el panorama artístico navarro, en 2011 ocupó el cargo de presidente del Colectivo de Artistas Gárdena de Navarra y participó en su exposición itinerante *Hallmarks*. Al año siguiente, participó en la exposición colectiva de artistas navarros celebrada en el Parlamento de Navarra con motivo de las conmemoraciones históricas de 1212 y 1512.
