AGUSTÍ PUIG PINYOL (Sabadell, Barcelona, 1957). «Desnudo femenino», 1998. Técnica mixta sobre cartulina. Firmado y fechado en la parte inferior central. Dimensiones: 81 x 60 cm; 87,5 x 66 cm (con marco). La obra que se subasta es especialmente característica de Agustí Puig debido a la importancia que concede al gesto, la línea y el material, elementos fundamentales de su lenguaje artístico. El artista reduce el cuerpo femenino a una silueta audaz trazada con líneas negras, rápidas y deliberadamente imperfectas, alejándose de cualquier intento de representación anatómica convencional. También es característico el protagonismo de la propia superficie: manchas, veladuras, transparencias e irregularidades texturales permanecen visibles y forman parte activa de la composición. Agustí Puig se formó en la Escola d’Arts i Oficis de Sabadell, la Escola Massana y el Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc. En 1985, recibió la cuarta mención de honor en el Premio Internacional de Dibujo Joan Miró. Su obra forma parte de las colecciones de la Fundació Vila Casas, el Museo de Bellas Artes de Taipéi y el Museu d’Art Contemporani de Tarragona, entre otras.
