Fotografía firmada de gran formato de Umberto II Umberto II de Italia (1904-1983), hijo de Víctor Manuel III y último rey de la nación, ocupó altos cargos militares durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y se convirtió en el jefe efectivo de la monarquía tras la liberación de Roma en 1944. Reinó durante menos de un mes en 1946, antes de que Italia votara a favor de la abolición de la monarquía. Fotografía vintage de acabado mate de 6,75 x 9,25 de Umberto de Saboya con uniforme de gala, tomada por Luce, montada en su soporte original de estudio de 9,75 x 13,75, firmada y con la dedicatoria escrita con pluma estilográfica en el soporte: «Al 1.º Capitán Veterinario Dr. Ettore Cerracchio, Umberto di Savoia, 1936». En perfecto estado, con ligeras manchas en el paspartú. Un retrato muy codiciado, firmado como Príncipe de Piamonte, antes de convertirse en el rey Umberto II en 1946.
