Chomo (francés, 1907-1999) Ensamblaje Madera de Séverine pintada en negro y decorada. Firmado. Alt. 55 An. 31 Prof. 38 cm. Procedencia: colección de Laurent Danchin (1946-2017), escritor, ensayista y crítico de arte, por herencia familiar. Escultor y fundador del «Village d'Art Préludien» en el bosque de Fontainebleau, en Achères-la-Forêt, Chomo fue el primer artista descubierto por Laurent Danchin, quien le visitaba cada semana entre 1975 y 1983 y publicó su testimonio (Chomo, Un pavé dans la vase intellectuelle, Simoen, París, 1978). Danchin es comisario, junto con Martine Lusardy, de la exposición Chomo, le débarquement spirituel (Halle Saint Pierre, París, 2009-2010) y, posteriormente, junto con Aymeric Rouillac, de «Faites un rêve avec Chomo» (Château, Tours, 2015-2016).
