ESCUELA CHINA (SIGLO XX) Crucero ligero de Su Majestad «Durban» Óleo sobre tabla 16½ x 22½ pulgadas (42 x 57 cm) Un crucero ligero de la clase Danae de 1919, no entró en servicio hasta 1921 y prestó servicio en la Estación de China entre 1922 y 1928. Junto con su buque gemelo, el «Dragon», terminó su carrera hundido como parte del rompeolas que protegía el puerto Mulberry, frente a Ouistreham, en Normandía, en 1944. Sus restos aún yacen a 36 pies de profundidad.
