El cuello lleva la inscripción: DEMYSEPTIER / MARINE DU HAVRE entre los escudos de armas de la ciudad de París y de la Marina Real, a ambos lados del asa. El cuerpo lleva grabado: «ESTA MEDIDA HA SIDO CALIBRADA / SEGÚN LA MATRIZ DE LOS CALIBRADORES / DEL AYUNTAMIENTO DE PARÍS, DE ACUERDO CON / EL ACTA DEL 13-8-1768».
