Según Pierre Robert CHRISTOPHE (1880-1971) Joven con trenzas Copia en bronce con pátina negra Firmada en hueco en la terraza y con el sello «cire...» 41 x 36 x 22 cm (Rayas por uso y desgaste en la pátina) El derecho de participación corre a cargo del comprador. Ficha técnica: Pierre Robert Christophe (1880-1971), nacido en Seine-Saint-Denis y fallecido en Burdeos, se formó con el escultor de animales Georges Gardet. En 1901-1902, compartió un taller en la avenida du Maine con Gaston Lachaise, con quien mantuvo una larga correspondencia, que hoy se conserva en la Biblioteca Beinecke de la Universidad de Yale. Fiel participante del Salón, donde recibió su primera medalla en 1923, participó en 1928 en la prueba de escultura del concurso de arte de los Juegos Olímpicos de Ámsterdam. Conocido sobre todo por sus animales, caballos o perros, forma parte de la generación de François Pompon, Rembrandt Bugatti o Édouard-Marcel Sandoz, que renovó la escultura animalística a principios del siglo XX, al tiempo que también abordaba la figura humana, como atestigua este modelo de mujer joven. La pieza que se presenta es una edición basada en su modelo.
